Anna, Holly and Iona are talented postgraduate students whose shared interest in chamber music and education led them to form Obassno at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2007. All have teaching experience from instrumental tuition, workshop activity and class teaching.
"A talented group of musicians who held the children's attention throughout the whole of the session. Along with their friendly manner and musicianship skills it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the planning of the workshop beforehand, making the event a great success!" (Wigmore Hall).

A fascinating combination of performance, story-
Obassno will play The Tale of the Thoughtful Duck, the Lazy Frog, the Angry Pike,
the Jolly Fisherman and the Beautiful Dragonfly (commissioned by Obassno and written
by Ben Oliver for the Chamber Tots series at Wigmore Hall). It’s an energetic fun
piece that tells how several pond creatures escape from the angry pike who rules
the pond – they’re lucky the crafty fisherman is around to catch the infamous Jaws-
