How to book

By post

Postal booking opens on 6th September (30th August for Friends of the Festival).  Don’t delay making a booking though - requests that arrive before the booking date are dealt with in the order they’re received.

 

We’re hoping we might be able to offer an on-line booking service by credit card for 2008, but we’re still working on this. Details will be posted during the summer, well in time for October bookings.

 

You can download the booking form as a .pdf file.  The 2008 booking form is not yet ready to download - it will be available in the summer.

Please send the following to the Festival box office:

-  the booking form

-  your payment

-  a stamped addressed envelope.

Please put your email address on the form (if you have one), even if booking by post.  This is the quickest and cheapest way to keep in touch with you about any changes, or about ticket availability.

 

By email

From 6th September you can email booking requests or queries to tickets@little-missenden.org.  You’ll need to post a cheque to make a firm booking.

By phone

From 27th September you can reserve tickets or ask for information by telephoning 01844 342039.  The phone is manned by volunteers, so please call only between 11am and 8pm.  Messages left on the answerphone will be dealt with promptly. You’ll need to post a cheque to make a firm booking

 

How to pay

Please make cheques or postal orders payable to Little Missenden Festival. It helps to avoid refunds if you leave the cheque amount blank with a stated upper limit.  We’re hoping to make credit card available via on-line bookings for the 2008 Festival, but we’re still working on this.

 

Tickets are not normally refundable.

 

Book early

Please book early – seats are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis, and popular events can easily sell out. Requests for tickets will be dealt with in the order they arrive – so don’t wait for the booking dates.

 

Programmes

We do not charge for our full and detailed concert programmes.

Price categories

We have three price categories for church events with reserved seats. The cheapest seats in the church have a partially or completely obstructed view of performers, although the acoustic is excellent throughout.

 

If the seats you want aren’t available we may send lower-priced tickets. Please put a cross in the space marked ‘No alternatives’ on the booking form where this is not acceptable.
